HISTORY

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. was founded in 1988 by Hersh Saluja to provide wastewater and water consulting services for municipal and federal clients. Our services quickly expanded to include transit and transportation engineering. In 1992, E2 began supporting the Department of Energy for facility operations and maintenance for nuclear operations. In 2012, E2 began providing project management services to utility clients, including Southern California Gas Company and Pacific Gas & Electric, and then expanded operations in pipeline construction and inspection services to utilities throughout the United States. In the same year, E2 also developed and launched a proprietary software application, E2 M2M®, to streamline recordkeeping and sharing of field data on complex projects. Since then, E2 has continued expanding its services suite, providing expertise in electrical engineering and design, technology, data analytics, and automation.

In 2023, E2 was recognized on Forbes America’s Best Small Employer List for its reputation and commitment to its employees, and separately, for outstanding growth by the SF Business Times as one of the fastest growing companies in the Bay Area.  After 35 years in business, E2 continues to grow and enhance its technical expertise while earning the trust and confidence of clients throughout the United States.
